Oshkosh Defense Receives $136.2 Million in Orders for Military Vehicles and Trailers
In recent news, Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, has secured two significant orders from the U.S. Army. The first order, worth $27.3 million, is for 57 Medium Equipment Trailers (MET). Oshkosh will work in collaboration with Broshuis B.V. its partner, to fulfill this order. The MET six-axle drop deck trailer is part of Oshkosh’s family of trailers and can be used with the Oshkosh Enhanced Heavy Equipment Transporter System (EHETS) M1300 tractor.
The second order, valued at $108.9 million, is for additional Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles A2 (FMTV A2) and trailers. This order serves both U.S. Army modernization initiatives and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to international partners. The FMTV A2 is known for its versatility, reliability, and performance, making it ideal for a wide range of missions.
