In a reversal from Wednesday's upward momentum, U.S.markets experienced a downturn today, as investor apprehension returned to the forefront.The cooling off period resulted in declines in several key sectors, particularly hitting Consumer Non-Cyclical, Services, and Utilities.

The Consumer Non-Cyclical sector led the decliners with a 0.29% drop, followed by the Services sector, falling by 0.16%. Utilities, usually a defensive haven, recorded a modest decrease of 0.08%. Despite today's marginal loss, the monthly performance of the Utility sector remains grim, showing a steep 6.76% drop.
Cryptocurrency Plunge
Cryptocurrencies witnessed a significant slump today, adding to the gloomy market mood.Aragon (ANT-USD) plunged by 44.36%, leading the losses.Other notable declines include Bitcoin Gold (BTG-USD) down 22.88%, Voyager Token (VGX-USD) by 17.45%, HEX (HEX-USD) falling 14.29%, DeFiChain (DFI-USD) down 13.94%, and NuCypher (NU-USD) with an 11.87% decline.Meanwhile, Bitcoin traded lower by 2.32% at $95,858.37 but still boasts a year-to-date performance better than the traditional stock markets.
