Wall Street witnessed a sharp drop in the market today, following a brief rise experienced on Wednesday.The main contributor to today's decline, by a staggering 6.97%, is none other than the Broadcasting Media & Cable TV industry.This slump was spearheaded by Netflix Inc (NFLX), witnessing a significant drop of 8.31%, and Fox Corporation (FOXA) with a marginal decline of 0.13%. Additionally, stocks are also selling off in the Aluminum industry, witnessing a spiral of 5.52%. The Auto & Truck Manufacturers industry also faced a decline of 4.97%, primarily due to Tesla Inc's (TSLA) plunge of 9.53% and Toyota Motor Corp's (TM) dip of 0.40%. In the realm of cryptocurrencies, the market took a tumble today.Bitcoin, the pioneer of the crypto world, is trading lower at $29,747.219, while Ethereum (ETH-USD) faces a decline at $1,887.3893.Among the worst performers in the crypto space today were Elrond (EGLD-USD) with a considerable drop of 6.34%, followed by Nano (NANO-USD) decreasing by 5.26%. XRP (XRP-USD), Reserve Rights (RSR-USD), Constellation (DAG-USD), and TomoChain (TOMO-USD) also couldn't evade the negative trend, witnessing declines of 4.74%, 4.55%, 4.42%, and 3.35%, respectively.
