In partnership with Ettifos and Autotalks, Keysight has enabled the first sidelink radio interoperability test based on the 3GPP Rel-16 standard. The test was conducted using the Ettifos SIRIUS 5G-V2X sidelink platform and the Autotalks SECTON3 5G-V2X chipset, validated through Keysight’s advanced PathWave Signal Generation for NR-V2X and X-app for 5G NR V2X Modulation Analysis Measurement Application. This breakthrough underscores the increasing demand for connected cars and autonomous driving, offering an expanded range of capabilities in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications.

This certification ensures the robustness and security of NXP’s automotive Digital Key solution, which plays a crucial role in the broader move towards secure and seamless vehicle access. The Digital Key solution is poised to offer a new standard in automotive security, ensuring that car owners have a reliable and secure method of vehicle entry and start-up.

Accelerating Open RAN Development with Advanced Testing Solutions

This collaboration aims to accelerate the development of Open Radio Access Networks (RAN) through the creation of testing models for RAN Intelligent Controllers (RIC). Keysight’s RICtest solutions will support the development of both near-real-time RIC and non-real-time RIC, providing advanced network intelligence management functions essential for modern telecommunication networks.
