JetBlue Expands Services in Boston and New England, Enhances Blue Basic Fare and Introduces New Daily Flights to Presque Isle
JetBlue, the leading leisure carrier in Boston, has announced a series of strategic changes aimed at investing and growing its presence in New England. The airline plans to add 20 percent more seats in the region by this winter, catering to the increasing demand for premium leisure destinations among New Englanders. The expansion includes additional flights at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and other airports in the area.
In line with its growth plans, JetBlue has also decided to enhance its Blue Basic fare by offering a complimentary carry-on bag to customers flying starting September 6, 2024. Previously, this option required customers to purchase a different fare or an Even More Space seat. With this change, JetBlue aims to provide even more value to price-conscious consumers, making its basic economy offering one of the best in the industry.
Furthermore, JetBlue has announced the launch of new daily flights between Boston and Presque Isle, starting from September 5, 2024. This service will provide convenient access to Boston for residents of northern Maine and New Brunswick, while also opening up numerous travel opportunities to JetBlue’s global network of destinations. Moreover, passengers will be able to admire the beauty of the New England countryside during their journey.
With its comprehensive expansion plans, JetBlue is reinforcing its commitment to the Boston and New England markets. By adding more flights and new routes, the airline aims to meet the increasing travel needs of New Englanders, providing them with enhanced convenience and connectivity.
