The collaboration aims to power the Super Sistem Batam Singapore (SSBS) Cable System, connecting Batam to Singapore. This subsea fiber optic cable project seeks to improve internet access and affordability across Indonesia, particularly in remote communities. Despite facing stiff competition, Infinera reported a moderate increase in revenue in the second quarter of 2023.
