This expansion comes at a critical time, as FTI Consulting faces financial headwinds in the first quarter of 2025. The company reported a year-over-year revenue decrease of 3.26%, contrasting sharply with the performance of its competitors, who experienced an average revenue rise of 5.1% during the same period. Additionally, FTI's net income fell by 22.69%, significantly lagging behind the industry average income growth of 26.38%.
Despite these challenges, FTI Consulting has managed to increase its market share, now standing at 18.87%, which reflects a relative growth compared to the last quarter of 2024. Notably, FTI Consulting achieved a net margin of 6.88%, indicating higher profitability than many of its rivals, even amidst a decline in revenue and net income.
