Hewlett Packard Enterprise Maintains Leadership Streak in SD-WAN Market and Sees ROI Growth’
HOUSTON Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has solidified its position as a dominant player in the software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) market by being named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SD-WAN. This recognition marks the seventh consecutive year in which HPE has been placed in the Leaders Quadrant, demonstrating its consistent performance and innovation in this rapidly evolving technology segment.
In addition to its Magic Quadrant distinction, HPE has received accolades as a Customers’ Choice in the 2024 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for SD-WAN. These accolades reflect not only HPE’s technological prowess but also the favorable reception it has received from clients, indicating a high level of customer satisfaction.
Gartner assessed vendors in the SD-WAN space based on two primary criteria: the completeness of vision and the ability to execute. HPE’s successful track record in these areas showcases its commitment to delivering robust, scalable SD-WAN solutions that meet the needs of businesses navigating complex networking challenges.
In a further testament to its financial health, HPE reported a return on average invested assets (ROI) of 6.29% for the third quarter of 2024, surpassing its average ROI of 3.94%. This improvement from the previous quarter’s 6.15% is attributed to growth in net income, highlighting HPE’s operational efficiency and strategic investments. Despite these gains, it is worth noting that 123 other companies within the technology sector posted a higher ROI during the same period.
Additionally, HPE’s overall ranking in ROI has improved significantly, moving from 993 to 889 in the quarter ending July 31, 2024. This advancement reflects a concerted effort by HPE to enhance its investment performance and position itself more competitively within the tech landscape.
