EDOC Acquisition Corp. Postpones Special Meeting of Shareholders on Proposed Business Combination
In a recent announcement, EDOC Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: ADOC) (EDOC) has revealed the postponement of its extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, which was initially scheduled for February 26, 2024. The meeting has now been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Shareholders of EDOC will convene to vote on various proposals, including the approval of the company’s proposed initial business combination with Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited (Pubco).
The Business Combination Agreement, involving EDOC, Pubco, American Physicians LLC, AOI Merger Sub, Australian Oilseeds Investments Pty Ltd. and other relevant parties, will be a key focal point of discussion during the meeting. The agreement, initially dated December 5, 2022, and subsequently amended on March 31, 2023, and December 7, 2023, is subject to further potential amendments. The proposed business combination with Pubco aims to solidify EDOC’s partnership with Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited.
It is important to note that the change in schedule does not affect the location, record date, purpose, or any of the proposals to be addressed at the Meeting.
