In response to the increasing demand for skilled quantum programmers, D-Wave Quantum Inc., the world’s first commercial supplier of quantum computers, has introduced a new six-module online training course called Foundations for Quantum Programming. The self-paced course aims to equip learners with the essential mathematical and programming skills needed to excel in the field of quantum computing.
Furthermore, D-Wave also announced the availability of its latest innovation, the 1,200+ qubit Advantage2 prototype, through its Leap real-time quantum cloud service. Existing subscribers of the Leap service can access the new prototype immediately, while newcomers can also take advantage of this offering.
To further reinforce its position as a key player in quantum computing, D-Wave has entered into a strategic partnership with Zapata Computing, operating as Zapata AI. This collaboration aims to advance quantum-enabled machine learning and develop solutions for industrial-scale problems.
The launch of the training course and the availability of the Advantage2 prototype signify D-Wave’s commitment to bridging the critical skills gap and expanding its reach in the quantum computing market. By providing accessible training opportunities and state-of-the-art systems, D-Wave aims to empower both individuals and enterprises to harness the power of quantum computing in solving complex problems.
