Brazilian Companies Embrace AI Innovations in Contact Centers’
São Paulo -’ In a strategic move to bolster their competitiveness, Brazilian companies are increasingly adopting innovative technologies and services in their contact centers, notably those powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This trend underscores the growing recognition within the industry that exceptional customer experience is a pivotal factor for success. These insights were highlighted in a new research report published today by the Information Services Group (ISG), a global leader in technology research and consultancy.
The 2024 ISG Provider Lens™ Contact Center - Customer Experience Services report for Brazil identifies a surge in interest from companies looking to enhance customer interaction and satisfaction through cutting-edge technology. AI-enabled services are at the forefront of these initiatives, providing companies with the tools necessary to streamline operations, personalize customer interactions, and predict customer needs more accurately.
Despite the upward trend in client experience innovations, Information Services Group Inc reported a cumulative net loss of $1 million over the 12-month period ending in the second quarter of 2024. This resulted in a negative return on assets (ROA) of -0.43%. Within the broader services sector, 259 other companies posted higher returns on assets, which casts a shadow over ISG’s financial performance.
However, there is a silver lining regarding ISG’s overall ROA ranking. By the quarter ending June 30, 2024, ISG’s ROA ranking improved to 2091, up from 2185 in the first quarter of the year. This upward movement suggests that, despite current financial challenges, efforts to innovate and grow remain a priority for ISG, reflecting a hopeful trajectory in the upcoming quarters.
As Brazilian companies continue to invest in AI-driven contact center innovations, the landscape for customer interaction is poised for transformation. The pressure to provide high-quality customer service in a competitive market compels businesses to stay abreast of technological advancements, marking a pivotal era for customer experience in Brazil.
