’Fleet Expansion with Condor’
In a landmark achievement, Air Lease Corporation has successfully delivered the first of 19 new Airbus aircraft to Condor, a premier German airline. The delivery consists of a state-of-the-art Airbus A321-200neo, signaling the onset of a sizable fleet renewal for Condor. This initial delivery will be followed by 18 more Airbus aircraft from ALC’s extensive order book through 2027comprising 17 A321-200neos and two A320-200neos.

This enhancement complements the current fleet ALC has on lease with Condor, which includes three A321s and two A320s. The aircraft, renowned for their operational efficiency and reduced environmental impact, are set to fortify Condor’s service capabilities and operational reach.
’Strategic Growth Amidst an Expanding Fleet’
The second quarter of 2024 has proven to be a busy period for ALC. As of June 30, ALC’s diverse portfolio featured 474 owned aircraft and 67 managed aircraft. The company also boasts an ambitious order book of 307 new aircraft from aerospace giants Boeing and Airbus, scheduled to deliver through 2029. This is part of ALC’s comprehensive plan to meet increasing demand and support the growth aspirations of airlines worldwide.
During this quarter, ALC delivered 13 new aircraft from its order book, highlighting its dynamic growth. This includes the delivery of two Airbus A220s, five Airbus A321neos, among others. These investments are a testament to ALC’s commitment to equipping airlines with next-generation, fuel-efficient aircraft.
’Financial Reinforcement through Expanded Credit Facilities’
Illustrating its strong financial acumen, Air Lease Corporation has enhanced its financial resilience by amending and extending its senior unsecured revolving credit facility. Effective from May 5, 2024, the facility, managed by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as the administrative agent, saw its total revolving commitments increase to approximately $7.8 billion from $7.4 billion across 52 financial institutions.
The extension of the credit facility’s final maturity date to May 5, 2028, underscores ALC’s strategy for long-term financial health and operational flexibility. The facility’s interest accrues on a competitive grid, allowing ALC to optimize its capital allocation and maintain liquidity for future investments and growth opportunities.
