Terex's Comment on Supply Chain

Principal materials and components that we use in our manufacturing processes include steel, castings, engines, tires, hydraulics, cylinders, drive trains, electric controls and motors, and a variety of other commodities and fabricated or manufactured items. Extreme movements in the cost and availability of these materials and components may affect our financial performance.

We continued to incur some net material cost increases as a result of legislation (primarily Tier 4 emission standards) and performance based changes in certain product areas, particularly engines.
