Cms Energy's Comment on Supply Chain


Consumers had future commitments to purchase and deliver coal to maintain supply and railcar leases beyond May 2025. Their gas utility operations encompass the purchase, transmission, storage, distribution, and sale of natural gas, generating $2.5 billion in operating revenue in 2025. In 2025, natural gas deliveries through Consumers' pipeline and distribution network totaled 396 billion cubic feet (Bcf), including 31 Bcf delivered to GCC. These gas utility operations are seasonal, with natural gas injected into storage during the summer months for use in winter.
