Universal Safety Products Inc's Comment on Supply Chain

The Company imports all its products, primarily from the People's Republic of China, including safety alarms powered by various types of batteries and other electrical devices. These imports are subject to tariffs, currently at 25% for certain products, and are influenced by global tariff changes, economic and political conditions, trade restrictions, and currency fluctuations. To mitigate currency risks, the Company negotiates commitments in U.S. dollars. It also faces potential delivery delays due to shipping and docking issues. On May 22, 2025, the Company sold the smoke and carbon monoxide portion of its business to Feit. The Company continues to import and market other product lines and is exploring new business opportunities.
