Additional operations include information technology businesses such as the GAZOO.com web portal for automobile information. Toyota sells vehicles in approximately 200 countries and regions, with key markets in Japan, North America, Europe, and Asia. In fiscal 2026, automobile unit sales distribution was 21.7% in Japan, 30.6% in North America, 12.3% in Europe, 18.3% in Asia, and 17.1% in other markets including Central and South America, Oceania, Africa, and the Middle East. The global automotive market in 2025 totaled approximately 92 million units, influenced by social, political, and economic conditions, new vehicle introductions, vehicle prices and costs, and supply chain disruptions. Economic conditions in major markets such as the U.S. and China supported steady automotive demand and market expansion in fiscal 2026.
