The company is transitioning to a mobile network operator (MNO) with its commercially available 5G network, activating Boost Mobile subscribers with compatible devices in markets where Voice over New Radio (VoNR) is available. It offers a range of wireless devices on its 5G network, including the Apple iPhone 15 and newer models. The 5G VoNR network covers over 220 million Americans, while the 5G broadband service reaches over 268 million Americans. As of December 31, 2024, the company had 6.995 million wireless subscribers. In its mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) operations, the company relies in part on T-Mobile and AT&T to provide network services under amended agreements. The company serves the U.S. population through its facilities-based 5G broadband network and has fulfilled various Federal Communications Commission (FCC) deployment commitments to expand coverage and improve service quality.
