C&F Bank provides commercial lending services primarily through offices located in Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Richmond, Roanoke, and Williamsburg, Virginia. C&F Wealth Management delivers wealth management services mainly at C&F Bank branch locations. C&F Insurance and CVB Title hold equity interests in an independent insurance agency and a full-service title and settlement agency, respectively. The community banking segment generates revenue from interest on loans and investment securities, fees on deposit accounts and debit card interchange, wealth management services, insurance products, and investment income. The mortgage banking segment operates through C&F Mortgage and its subsidiary C&F Select LLC, offering mortgage loan origination services in Virginia and surrounding states. This segment provides various residential mortgage loans, including conventional loans, FHA-insured loans, USDA-guaranteed loans, and VA-guaranteed loans. Conventional loans include conforming loans eligible for purchase by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, as well as non-conforming loans sold to other investors. The mortgage banking segment also encompasses Lender Solutions, which offers mortgage loan origination services to third-party lenders including other community banks, and Certified Appraisals LLC, which provides residential appraisal services. Revenue in this segment is derived from gains on loan sales, loan origination fees, interest on loans held for sale, and lender services income.
