Arcbest's Comment on Supply Chain


The company transports raw materials using railroad, truckload tank car, pipeline, and water carrier methods. Its Asset-Based operations manage commodities such as food, textiles, apparel, furniture, appliances, chemicals, non-bulk petroleum products, rubber, plastics, metal and metal products, wood, glass, automotive parts, machinery, and miscellaneous manufactured products. Labor costs represent 52.2% of Asset-Based revenues for 2025. Approximately 81% of Asset-Based employees are covered under the ABF National Master Freight Agreement (2023 ABF NMFA) with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), effective through June 30, 2028. This agreement includes wage increases, profit-sharing bonuses, and contributions to multiemployer health, welfare, and pension plans for ABF Freight employees. ABF Freight fulfills its obligations to multiemployer pension and health and welfare plans for its contractual employees through specified contributions during the current agreement term.
