Celanese's Comment on Supply Chain

The company sources raw materials from internal production and third-party suppliers, typically through long-term contracts. It manufactures various materials, including polypropylene products (Polifor® and Tecnoprene®), TPE brands (Sofprene® T, Laprene®, and Hytrel®), thermoplastic polyesters (Celanex®, Crastin®, Thermx®, and Rynite®), TPV trademarks (Santoprene™ and Geolast™), and UHMW-PE trademark (GUR®). These materials serve applications in automotive, appliances, electrical, consumer, construction, medical, industrial, and sustainability sectors. The company maintains established relationships with original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers, supported by multi-year and annual agreements and distribution partners. Pricing is primarily value-in-use based and generally not directly linked to raw material cost fluctuations.
