Its manufacturing and supply chain operations span multiple countries, including the United States, Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Israel, and other locations in Asia and Europe. The company utilizes qualified vendors, including contract manufacturers, to provide parts, services, and product support. Its supply chain strategy prioritizes ethical labor practices, responsible minerals sourcing, compliance with Responsible Business Alliance and SEMI guidelines, and adherence to the Applied Materials Standards of Business Conduct. While sourcing from multiple qualified suppliers is preferred, certain key parts may be obtained from a single or limited number of suppliers. To mitigate costs and risks, the company selects alternate suppliers, monitors supplier financial health, maintains inventories, qualifies new parts promptly, and ensures quality and performance standards.
