Embraer serves government and armed forces customers worldwide, including Brazil, Portugal, and Hungary, which operate the KC-390 Millennium aircraft. The company anticipates adding at least six more operators in the coming years. Embraer's defense and security product portfolio includes the KC-390 airlift platform, radars such as SENTIR M20, SABER M60, and SABER M200 VIGILANTE, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft, tactical military transport, aerial refueling, training aircraft, satellites, and cybersecurity solutions through its subsidiary Atech. Embraer holds a 51% equity interest in Visiona, a company focused on satellite development and services. Embraer formed the Águas Azuis consortium with Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and Atech to construct four Tamandaré Class Frigates for the Brazilian Navy. The company also merged with Savis Tecnologia e Sistemas S.A., which specializes in land systems and the SISFRON Program for the Brazilian Army. Embraer is a primary supplier of defense aircraft to the Brazilian Air Force and has expanded sales to armed forces in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The Services & Support segment offers operational solutions for Embraer aircraft across Commercial Aviation, Executive Aviation, and Defense & Security, including materials supply, pay-by-hour programs, maintenance, and aircraft modification.
