Bloomia sells tulip stems primarily to mass-market retailers in the U.S., serving approximately 25 customers in fiscal year 2024. Three customers each accounted for more than 10% of U.S. revenue, representing 34%, 20%, and 11% respectively. The U.S. cut flower market is estimated at $8 billion in 2024, with tulip stems comprising about 15% of sales. Bloomia holds approximately 20% market share of cut tulips grown in the U.S. The tulip market is seasonal, peaking from January to May, but is expanding year-round due to occasions such as birthdays and weddings. Bloomia competes with local U.S. producers and foreign producers, primarily from the Netherlands. The company sources bulbs from the Netherlands and the Southern Hemisphere to provide fresh tulips year-round. In fiscal 2024, Bloomia sourced bulbs to grow over 95 million stems, with 80% from the Netherlands and 20% from the Southern Hemisphere.
