The Company has collaboration agreements with BHK and Rgene Corporation. Under the BHK Co-Development Agreement, effective for fifteen years from the first commercial sale in Asia excluding Japan, the Company received milestone payments and is entitled to royalties from BHK's net sales of ABV-1501, ABV-1504, and ABV-1505 products. As of December 31, 2022, the Company completed phase II clinical trials for ABV-1504 for major depressive disorder (MDD) but had not completed phase II trials for ABV-1505 for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The Rgene Agreement covers co-development and commercialization of therapies for HER2/neu positive breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and ovarian cancer. The Company received $3,000,000 in cash or stock from Rgene as compensation for past research efforts. Development costs are shared equally between the Company and Rgene, and future net licensing income or net sales profits are split 50/50. An amendment to the Rgene Agreement removed two therapies and added a new therapy targeting EGFR positive non-small cell lung cancer. All research projects under this agreement are managed and funded equally by both parties.
