Branch services include accepting deposits, cashing checks, and providing consumer and commercial cash services. Both consumer and business customers can conduct banking transactions via digital channels. Investment products and services are offered through wholly owned subsidiaries, including First Citizens Investor Services, Inc. (FCIS), First Citizens Asset Management, Inc. (FCAM), First Citizens Delaware Trust Company, and First Citizens Capital Securities, LLC (FCCS). FCIS provides investment products such as annuities, brokerage services, and third-party mutual funds, while FCIS and FCAM offer investment management services and advice. FCCS delivers underwriting and private placement services. Additional subsidiaries include SVB Wealth LLC, SVB Asset Management, and First Citizens Institutional Asset Management, LLC, all serving as investment advisers. The company has expanded through strategic mergers and acquisitions, notably acquiring 138 branches from BMO Bank N.A. across the Midwest, Great Plains, and West regions, as well as acquiring loans, assets, and deposits from Silicon Valley Bridge Bank, N.A. (SVBB). BancShares maintains the Silicon Valley Bank brand as a division of First Citizens BancShares (FCB).
