Business Description
Ryder System, Inc., a Florida corporation organized in 1955, is a leader in transportation
and supply chain management solutions. Our business is divided into three business
segments: Fleet Management Solutions (FMS), which provides leasing, commercial
rental and programmed maintenance of commercial trucks, tractors and trailers
to customers, principally in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.; Supply Chain Solutions
(SCS), which provides comprehensive supply chain consulting and lead logistics
management solutions throughout North America and in Latin America, Europe and
Asia; and Dedicated Contract Carriage (DCC), which provides vehicles and drivers
as part of a dedicated transportation solution, principally in North America.
