Regency Centers Announces $325 Million Offering of Senior Unsecured Notes
On August 12, 2024, Regency Centers Corporation (Regency, Regency Centers, or the Company) revealed that its operating partnership, Regency Centers, L.P., has successfully priced a public offering of senior unsecured notes. Under its existing shelf registration filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Company has issued $325 million in senior unsecured notes due in 2035. The Notes were offered at 99.813% of par value with a coupon rate of 5.100%. Interest on the Notes will be paid semiannually on January 15 and July 15 each year, with the first payment scheduled for January 15, 2025. Additionally, the Company has guaranteed the payment of both principal and interest on the Notes.
This announcement comes on the back of notable financial results for Regency Centers, as the company experienced a 3.74% income increase in the third quarter of 2023. The cumulative value of their income reached $375 million, resulting in an impressive income per employee of $868,560 on a trailing twelve-month basis.
