The Company operates 196 supermarkets and serves customers across all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and internationally in Europe, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Djibouti, Korea, and Japan. It supports independent food retail customers through two reportable segments: Wholesale and Retail. The Wholesale segment distributes national brand and private brand products to independent retailers, national accounts, food service distributors, e-commerce providers, and the Company's corporate-owned retail stores. It also contracts with manufacturers and brokers to supply grocery products to 160 U.S. military commissaries and over 400 exchanges worldwide. In partnership with Coastal Pacific Food Distributors (CPFD), the Company provides a global delivery solution servicing the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The Wholesale segment reported total net sales of $7.9 billion in 2024, including $1.2 billion to corporate-owned retail stores.
