Griffon's Comment on Sales, Marketing and Customers

Griffon operates through its subsidiaries across multiple countries, serving diverse customers and markets while aiming to reduce variability from external factors. The company focuses on two core markets: Home and Building Products (HBP) and Consumer and Professional Products (CPP). In the HBP segment, Griffon offers residential garage doors, sectional commercial doors, rolling steel doors, and grille products under brands including Clopay, Ideal, Cornell, and Cookson. Within the CPP segment, it serves markets for fans through Hunter Fan Company, storage solutions via ClosetMaid, and residential watering products in Australia through The AMES Companies, Inc., which acquired Pope from The Toro Company. The Australian market is a significant segment, with Pope generating over $25,000 in revenue in its first full year. CPP has expanded its global sourcing strategy for the U.S. market to include long-handled tools, material handling, and wood storage and organization products, adopting an asset-light business model to provide flexible and cost-effective sourcing.
