CEMIG SIM and its subsidiary Comerc Energia S.A. (Comerc) operate distributed generation photovoltaic power plants. CEMIG SIM fully owns six photovoltaic units totaling 27 MWp, while Comerc owns five units totaling 26.7 MWp. CEMIG SIM acquired a 51% interest in two photovoltaic power plants and full ownership of one unit totaling 10 MWp. The company plans to invest R$373 million in the Distributed Generation segment from 2026 to 2027. CEMIG's strategic plan targets multiple market segments, including captive networks (distribution, transmission, gas distribution) and the competitive market (centralized generation, commercialization, distributed generation).
