The bank's lending focus includes commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses and owner-occupied real estate loans to individuals. Its loan portfolio comprises commercial loans secured by accounts receivable, inventory, equipment, or unsecured; commercial real estate loans secured by nonresidential and multi-family residential properties; construction and land development loans covering commercial and residential land development, one-to-four family housing construction, multi-family housing construction, non-residential building construction, and undeveloped land; residential real estate loans including traditional one-to-four family mortgages, second liens, commercial loans secured by one-to-four family residences, and home equity loans; as well as consumer loans. Summit Community Bank operates full-service banking offices and emphasizes local relationship banking and prudent lending practices.
