Seaboard's Comment on Supply Chain

Seaboard sources 94% of the hogs processed at its Oklahoma plant internally, with the remaining 6% purchased from an independent producer. The CT&M segment procures approximately 15 million metric tons annually of wheat, corn, soybeans, soybean meal, and other commodities from farmers, grain elevators, and wholesale merchants. The Marine segment obtains fuel through long-term and spot-price agreements. The Liquid Fuels segment produces biodiesel and renewable diesel using pork fat from pork processing plants, as well as other animal fats and vegetable oils supplied by various third-party vendors. The Power segment depends on natural gas supplied by a single provider in the Dominican Republic and maintains long-term fuel supply agreements for natural gas. The Turkey segment sources a significant portion of its grain feed from Seaboard's partner Butterball, which also acquires poults from one supplier operating multiple locations.
