Jones Soda Co's Comment on Sales, Marketing and Customers

The company provides differentiated fountain soda products targeting a broad demographic. Its premium beverages are primarily distributed through grocery stores, convenience and gas stations, restaurants with fountain service, and independent accounts such as delicatessens, sandwich shops, and burger restaurants. The company maintains national accounts with several large retailers. In 2025, approximately 88% of sales occurred in the United States and 12% in Canada, with limited presence in select international markets. Distribution channels include a direct store delivery (DSD) system via independent distributors, a direct-to-retail (DTR) channel serving national and regional retail accounts, and an online platform. The company is focused on expanding its Jones Soda glass bottle line, the modern soda category through the Pop Jones brand, and the alternative adult beverage market. It also launched the JONES Cane Sugar Fountain program through fountain distributors in select U.S. and Canadian regions. In June 2025, the company sold its Mary Jones Brand cannabis-infused business but retained the hemp-derived HD9 beverage business, which has experienced market limitations due to recent legislation restricting THC content. The company’s customers and markets include MJ Disruptors.
