Fuel Tech provides nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction technologies, air pollution control (APC) technologies, fuel chemical (FUEL CHEM) technologies, and water treatment technologies. Their NOx reduction products include NOxOUT®, Advanced Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) systems, ASCR® Advanced Selective Catalytic Reduction systems, and SCR reagent supply systems such as ULTRA®, U2A, and UDI™, which have been installed on over 2,000 units globally. Their APC technologies, including Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) products and Flue Gas Conditioning (FGC) systems, have been implemented on more than 600 units worldwide. The FUEL CHEM technologies utilize proprietary TIFI® Targeted In-Furnace Injection™ processes and have been applied to units burning coal, heavy oil, biomass, and municipal waste in over 100 applications worldwide. Their water treatment technologies feature DGI® Dissolved Gas Infusion Systems, currently in the demonstration phase, with applications in irrigation, natural water treatment, aquaculture, biological remediation, wastewater odor management, pH adjustment, re-carbonization, and alkalinity control.
