Evergy Chairman Announces Retirement, CEO David Campbell to Assume Leadership

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Evergy, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVRG), a prominent utility company, revealed today that Mark Ruelle, the current chairman of the board, will not seek re-election at the company s annual meeting on May 7, 2024. Ruelle, who has served as non-executive chairman of Evergy, Inc., will retire from his roles as a member of the board of directors and chairman at the end of his term.
