The bedding segment markets knitted and woven fabrics and sewn covers for products such as mattresses, foundations, and mattress sets. The upholstery segment provides fabric products for residential and commercial upholstered furniture, including sofas, recliners, chairs, loveseats, sectionals, sofa-beds, and seating for offices, healthcare facilities, and other institutional uses. It also supplies seating for the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, and theaters, and offers window treatment products and installation services for hospitality and commercial customers. Culp's products are marketed globally and include fabrics produced at its manufacturing facilities as well as those sourced from suppliers primarily in China, Vietnam, and Turkey. The company operates production and distribution facilities in North Carolina, Shanghai, China, and Ouanaminthe, Haiti, and previously operated a facility in Tennessee. Culp transitioned its bedding business weaving operations to a strategic sourcing model, primarily utilizing a long-standing supply partner in Turkey.
