CTB offers a variety of financial services, including commercial, construction, mortgage, and personal lending; letters of credit; safe deposit boxes; funds transfer; trust services; brokerage; and insurance. The company supports community organizations by financing affordable housing, economic development, and revitalization efforts in distressed and underserved areas, with community development lending totaling over $59.6 million in 2025. CTBI contributed more than $719,000 to assist low- and moderate-income families and communities and promote economic development. Employees volunteered over 990 hours to organizations serving low- and moderate-income families, small businesses, and farms. CTBI's subsidiaries compete with state and national banks, thrifts, trust companies, insurance companies, mortgage banking operations, credit unions, finance companies, brokerage firms, and other financial and non-financial entities, including non-bank institutions utilizing technology for financial services. Competition is influenced by regulatory changes, industry consolidation, and technological advancements. CTB operates in Kentucky and is subject to state banking laws and competitive market conditions.
