1) Pascal Soriot: CEO
Pascal Soriot joined Astrazeneca in 2012 as CEO. Prior to this, he spent over 25 years at Roche holding several leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and CEO of Roche's pharmaceuticals division. Soriot has a degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Sydney and an MBA from INSEAD.
2) Marc Dunoyer: Executive Director and CFO
Marc Dunoyer was appointed as executive director and CFO of Astrazeneca in 2013. He previously served as CFO of GlaxoSmithKline's European operations and as CEO of Merck-Serono. Dunoyer holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in economics from Paris Dauphine University.
3) Pam Cheng: Executive Vice President, Operations and Information Technology
Pam Cheng joined Astrazeneca in 2020 as Executive Vice President, Operations and Information Technology. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Alexion Pharmaceuticals. Cheng has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
4) Jose Baselga: Executive Vice President, Oncology R&D
Jose Baselga became Executive Vice President of Oncology R&D at Astrazeneca in 2019. He previously served as Physician-in-Chief and CMO at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Baselga has a degree in medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a PhD in medicine from the University of Valencia.
5) Katarina Ageborg: Executive Vice President, Sustainability and Chief Compliance Officer
Katarina Ageborg joined Astrazeneca in 2019 as Executive Vice President of Sustainability and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to this, she held several leadership positions at Sobi including CEO and President. Ageborg has a degree in pharmacy from Uppsala University.
6) Marcus Wallenberg: Chairman of the Board
Marcus Wallenberg has been the Chairman of the Board of Astrazeneca since 2012. He is also the Chairman of the Board of SEB, a Nordic financial services group, and a Board member of Investor AB, a Swedish investment company. Wallenberg holds a degree in economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
