Santa Clara, Calif. - In a recent announcement, Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) revealed that Padraig McDonnell, the president of the Agilent CrossLab Group (ACG), has been appointed the CEO-elect and chief operating officer (COO) of the company. He will succeed the current President and CEO Mike McMullen, who is set to retire. Alongside this transition, McDonnell will join Agilent s Board of Directors on May 1.
