It operates a natural food colors facility near Istanbul, Turkey, with vertically integrated production for black carrot and other natural colors. Additional botanicals and ingredients, including beta-carotene, beet, carrot, potato, butterfly pea flower, spirulina, and paprika, are sourced through local partnerships with farmers and extraction facilities across various regions. Raw materials for flavors, extracts, and essential oils include essential oils, botanicals, extracts, fruits, and juices from both domestic and foreign suppliers. Flavor enhancers and secondary flavors are derived from brewers’ yeast and vegetable materials such as corn and soybeans. Onion, garlic, chili peppers, and other vegetables are acquired under annual contracts with growers in the western United States. The Company maintains that it can sustain supply through reformulation and alternative sources if necessary.
