It owns and operates three natural gas storage fields in Montana, with a total working gas capacity of approximately 17.85 Bcf and maximum daily deliverability of about 194,000 dekatherms. In South Dakota and Nebraska, the company supplies natural gas to customers and transports natural gas for several gas-marketing firms and large end-user accounts. In 2025, it delivered approximately 31.0 Bcf and 3.8 Bcf of third-party transportation volume in South Dakota and Nebraska, respectively. The company contracts with third parties under asset management agreements to manage transportation, storage, pipeline capacity, supply, and asset optimization to minimize costs and price volatility. It also contracts for firm natural gas storage services to meet heating season and peak day requirements. The company holds municipal natural gas franchise agreements in Nebraska and South Dakota, with terms varying by community and maximum durations of 25 years in Nebraska and 20 years in South Dakota.
