Johnson Controls International Plc's Comment on Supply Chain
The Company utilizes raw materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, copper, polypropylene, certain fluorochemicals used in fire suppression agents, semiconductors, and other electronic components. It has experienced material cost increases due to global inflation, supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, increased demand, regulatory and macroeconomic factors, and tariffs imposed by the United States and other countries. Although the Company has largely mitigated the impact of current tariffs, additional tariffs could adversely affect revenue growth and profit margins. Future disruptions, shortages, tariffs, and price inflation may occur, with effects contingent on the Company's mitigation efforts. Commodity prices and availability in fiscal 2026 may fluctuate and significantly influence operating results.
