Great Lakes Dredge And Dock's Comment on Supply Chain


The Company maintains bonding agreements with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company, Ascot Surety and Casualty Company, Ascot Insurance Company, Endurance Assurance Company, Endurance American Insurance Company, Lexon Insurance Company, Bond Safeguard Insurance Company, AXIS Insurance Company, and AXIS Reinsurance Company, collectively referred to as the Sureties. It also holds bonding agreements with Argonaut Insurance Company and Westchester Fire Insurance Company, although it is currently unable to obtain new bonds from these two insurers. Outstanding bonds are in place with AXIS Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Endurance Assurance Corporation, Westchester Fire Insurance Company, Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America, Ascot Surety & Casualty Company, and Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company. For certain projects, the Company secures letters of credit or bank guarantees under the ABL Amendment. Bid guarantees typically range from 2% to 5% of the bid amount, while performance and advance payment guarantees generally range from 5% to 20% of the contract value.
