The company provides computing power to mining pools including Foundry and Luxor, which utilize this power to operate nodes and validate blockchain blocks. It receives Bitcoin payouts based on its hashrate contribution, after deducting pool fees below 1.0%. To safeguard Bitcoin assets, the company employs third-party custody solutions such as Coinbase Custody and Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., implementing two-factor authentication and multi-person approval for withdrawals. On March 31, 2025, Historical ABTC entered into a Master Colocation Services Agreement (MCSA) with U.S. Data Mining Group, Inc. (USDMG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hut 8, for colocation and hosting services of mining equipment at Hut 8-owned or leased facilities. The MCSA fees include monthly recurring charges plus costs related to facility operation, maintenance, and power delivery. As of September 3, 2025, four service orders under the MCSA were active at Hut 8’s Alpha, Medicine Hat, Salt Creek, and Vega sites.
