The Company operates under the Carquest and Worldpac trade names, specializing in original equipment and aftermarket automotive replacement products. In November 2024, the Company sold its Worldpac business. It is implementing a 2024 Restructuring Plan aimed at improving profitability, which includes store and independent location closures as well as workforce adjustments. As of January 3, 2026, the Company operates 4,305 stores, including 4,066 Advance Auto Parts stores across 44 U.S. states and two U.S. territories. These stores offer approximately 23,200 SKUs tailored to each market, serving both professional and DIY customers. The Company supplements store inventory with less common SKUs available through other channels. Site selection considers factors such as population, demographics, traffic, vehicle profile, competitors, and real estate costs. The Company serves customers through both brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce platforms.
