Business Description
Our business is focused on becoming a leader in advertising media and providing integrated intelligent marketing solutions to our brand customers. We aim to serve our customers by utilizing big data to develop effective advertising strategies. Our mission is to actively develop a new core retail channel, the Community Channel, in the advertising industry. We are striving to expand this core to cover both large and small communities across China, establishing ourselves as leaders in the advertising industry.
Incorporated in 1993 under the name EC Capital Limited in the state of Delaware, our company has gone through various changes and transformations. From 2004 to 2006, we operated as Teda Travel Group Inc., focusing on management services for hotels and resorts in China. In 2006, we changed our name to Network CN Inc. to align with our vision of building a nationwide information and entertainment network in China.
In recent developments, we have been actively expanding our advertising network and exploring new media projects in Chengdu, Tianjin, and Ningbo, China. We have established two wholly-owned subsidiary companies, NCN (Chengdu) Culture Media Co., Ltd and NCN (Tianjin) Culture Co., Ltd, and another subsidiary, NCN (Ningbo) Culture Media Co., Ltd. These subsidiaries have acquired rights to operate advertising panels in their respective regions, enabling us to directly sell advertising airtime to our customers.
To incentivize our employees and reward their efforts, we have issued restricted shares of our company's common stock to certain individuals based on their performance and contribution. For example, we issued 606,881 restricted shares to Chen Zhu, an employee who played a significant role in acquiring the advertising rights in Ningbo. Additional bonus shares may be awarded depending on the employee's ability to achieve sales and profit targets in 2023 and 2024.
