TCS includes retail stores, an online website, a call center, and in-home services, serving customers primarily in 34 states and the District of Columbia via 102 stores and online platforms. Elfa, a wholly owned Swedish subsidiary, designs and manufactures customizable shelving and drawer systems for various home areas and sells products wholesale to retailers in approximately 30 countries, mainly in the Nordic region. The Container Store is the exclusive U.S. distributor of elfa® products. In fiscal 2023, TCS accounted for about 95% of consolidated net sales, while Elfa contributed approximately 5%.
