It also serves customers through omni-channel consumer websites, including the dedicated e-commerce site DiscountContacts.com. Historically focused on lower-income consumers with an emphasis on low-price merchandise, the company has expanded its services to include remote telehealth capabilities available in over 800 locations to improve patient care access. In 2024 and 2025, the company initiated transformation efforts to modernize operations, refresh brand identities—particularly National Vision and America’s Best—and enhance the consumer experience through updated merchandising, marketing, in-store technologies, and pricing strategies. The company’s strategy targets expanded customer segments such as managed vision care users, progressive lens wearers, and Outside Rx customers. It also aims to enhance product offerings with premium lens coatings, transitions, advanced materials, and luxury frames, while improving in-store experiences and doctor-to-retail handoffs.
