Civeo Corp
In Canada, Australia, and the United States, we provide hospitality services to the natural resources business. At accommodation facilities that we or our clients own, we offer a comprehensive range of hospitality services to our visitors, including lodging, catering and food service, housekeeping, and maintenance. In many situations, we supply laundry, facility management and maintenance, water and wastewater treatment, electricity production, communication systems, security, and logistics to support the day-to-day operations of housing facilities.
We also provide workforce accommodation facility development services, such as site selection, permits, engineering and design, manufacturing management, and site building, as well as hospitality services after the facility is built. Our customers include major and independent oil companies, mining companies, engineering companies, and oilfield and mining service companies. We primarily operate in some of the worlds most active oil, metallurgical (met) coal, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and iron ore producing regions, and our customers include major and independent oil companies, mining companies, engineering companies, and oilfield and mining service companies. Our diverse range of services enables us to satisfy the specific requirements of each of our clients while also offering pleasant lodging for their personnel.
Safety, Care, Excellence, Integrity, and Collaboration are the basic principles that our organization is based on. Above all else, we prioritize the safety of our staff and visitors. We care about our employees, visitors, customers, communities, and the environment, and we take pleasure in providing outstanding service. We work together with our employees, communities, customers, and partners with integrity. Through a variety of sustainable initiatives, we actively aim to reduce the environmental effect of our activities. We also prioritize water conservation and make use of alternate water sources such as recycling and rainwater collecting.
We provide hospitality services that span the lifecycle of customer projects, from the initial exploration and resource delineation to long-term production. Initially, as customers assess the resource potential and determine how they will develop it, they typically need our hospitality services for a limited number of employees for an uncertain duration of time. Our fleet of mobile assets is well-suited to support this initial exploratory stage as customers evaluate their development and construction plans. As development of the resource begins, we are able to serve their needs through either: (1) our fleet of mobile assets, particularly for shorter term projects such as pipeline construction and seasonal drilling programs; (2) our scalable lodge or village model; or (3) our service of guests in customer-owned facilities. As projects grow and headcount needs increase, we are able to meet our customers growing needs at our accommodation facilities or with our hospitality services. By providing infrastructure support and hospitality services early in the project lifecycle, we are well positioned to continue to service our customers throughout the production phase, which typically lasts decades.
Our scalable facilities provide workforce housing in situations where standard lodging and related housing are inaccessible, insufficient, or not cost efficient. Our customers may outsource their lodging needs to a single provider, ensuring staff welfare and happiness while concentrating their resources on key resource production. Our principal goal is to provide these hospitality services to large natural resource corporations at our major assets, which we refer to as lodges in Canada and the United States and villages in Australia, or at facilities owned by our clients.
