Adecoagro S.A. is an agricultural company based in Luxembourg with subsidiaries in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, operating in the production and processing of agricultural products such as grains, oilseeds, rice, sugar, ethanol, and dairy products. In addition to its core agricultural operations, Adecoagro also operates a cogeneration plant producing energy from biogas to generate electricity, which is then sold to the national grid in Brazil.
